Every town faces its challenges from time to time and the Economic Alliance is an opportunity to discuss where there are opportunities for growth and development within the Borough. a key element of the work of the Economic Alliance is to plan for future growth and develop the skills base that is required within the town for its future economic prosperity and opportunities for people to make Bolton their home.

The local government has developed a strategy for growth with regeneration plans which is a great start. 

The regeneration plans include modernising Bolton Market, adding a food hall and expanding the outdoor area. There are also plans to transform the former bus station into 208 new homes with green spaces and shops with a new park with seatings and picnic areas and a performance space.

Bolton has a culturally diverse economy and the future for the town is very promising.
